Information security policy

Omnitor AB has existed since 1995 and has made itself known as a company that develops software for communication solutions that include audio, text and video in real-time.

The company's most important customer group is Regions, which buys communication products that, after a needs test, are distributed to patients. These patients are usually deaf or severely hearing impaired and it happens that companies handle patient data that is considered sensitive and should be treated as such.

The company's information assets consist of two parts; information that the company gives out voluntarily and information that is not allowed to leave the company.

The company's information security policy covers everyone in the company. In the event of deviations from the information security policy, this is reported as internal deviations and follows the template for deviation reporting.

Information that the company releases voluntarily is information that is used as marketing material for information that buying customers need so that they can use the company's products in the desired way.

Information that may not leave the company is information that can be considered harmful to customers, users of the company's products and other stakeholders.

The company must actively work to ensure good information security, which means the following.

  • Ensure that our handling of information complies with requirements in accordance with agreements, laws and regulations.

  • Ensure that procedures are followed to eliminate the risk of data breaches or account hijacking.

  • Set follow-up information security goals that are followed up regularly.

  • That information security is integrated into the company's other routines.

  • The company will work for constantly improved information security.

  • Responsibility for the policy is the company's CEO. All employees have a responsibility to comply with the company's regulations.
